Overall, how would you describe your experience at Balfour Beatty?
Very good, i started as a business improvement grad and transitioned into the finance role around 6 months in, which is what i always wanted to go into. Overall i have been exposed to lots of amazing opportunities to develop my career and surrounded by helpful and knowledgeable colleagues throughout my time at Balfour Beatty.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I Manage 4 different monthly P&L's, strong involvement in balance sheet reviews, various cost analysis activities, and general graduate activities. The part I enjoy the most is just being given varied responsibilities and new opportunities all the time, which has stopped the role from becoming repetitive month on month.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Definitely 5/5 - The work I do makes a genuine impact to the finance team and I receive consistent feedback from colleagues.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I think there are lots of good perks offered to us, although I think it could always be better.

Mostly very good, we all get 2 volunteering days a year which most people use, and you can get more on request. However it could probably be slightly better on some occasions.
