Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I helped a team provide the Part M maintenance for the QEAF pilots at RAF Leeming. Daily tasks included organisation structuring and site visits. I interacted with senior persons of the business and groundcrew.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given ownership of a task that created a lead to be used when performing a mandatory test on all the ejection seats on the QAEF Hawks.

Conducted training on human factors, Excel VBA and PowerPoint. Learned how to design, build and test an electrical component for ejection seats.
