Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a Graduate Project Manager, my main responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, managing project information, tracking programmes and risks, overseeing surveys and technical due diligence, monitoring project costs and invoicing, and supporting the delivery of projects from feasibility and planning through to construction. I am also responsible for maintaining project trackers, managing actions arising from meetings, coordinating planning conditions and consultant appointments, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed through regular reporting and communication.
The aspect of the role I enjoy most is the variety of work and the opportunity to be involved in all stages of a project. I particularly enjoy coordinating consultants and stakeholders to solve problems, managing complex project information, and seeing how individual workstreams come together to progress a scheme. I also enjoy developing project controls such as survey trackers, cashflows, action trackers and project execution plans, as these provide clear structure and help drive projects forward. The role gives me exposure to a wide range of technical, commercial and planning matters, which makes every project different and provides continuous learning opportunities.

Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Why?
Yes. Savills has given me exposure to a wide range of projects and responsibilities early in my career, from consultant and stakeholder management to planning, technical due diligence, project controls and commercial management. This variety has accelerated my development and provided excellent learning opportunities.
I particularly value the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues across multiple disciplines and contribute to projects at different stages of the development lifecycle. The level of responsibility and trust given has helped me build both technical knowledge and professional confidence.
