Account Delivery Analyst Review

Overall, my experience at DXC has been really positive. I've had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, take ownership of important responsibilities, and collaborate with some great people across the business and with clients. I've been trusted to support key financial and operational processes, contribute to account initiatives, and get involved in activities outside of my core role, such as social value projects and events. The supportive team environment and opportunities to continuously learn and develop have made it an enjoyable and rewarding place to work.

My main responsibilities include supporting the financial and operational management of the Network Rail account, particularly around invoicing, accruals, funding management, reporting, and process improvement activities. I also support a range of projects and initiatives by analysing data, creating dashboards and reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and helping to resolve issues to keep delivery on track.
The parts of the role I enjoy most are the variety and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. No two days are exactly the same, and I enjoy working with different teams, solving problems, improving processes, and using data to support decision-making. I particularly enjoy taking ownership of tasks, identifying opportunities for improvement or automation, and getting involved in wider initiatives such as social value activities, events, and projects outside of my day-to-day responsibilities.

My role gives me a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by the team. I've been trusted with responsibility for key financial processes, reporting activities, project support, and process improvement initiatives, which gives me the chance to make a visible impact on the account. I regularly work with a wide range of stakeholders, and it's rewarding to see the outcomes of the work I contribute to.

The support I've received has been excellent overall. My line manager, Caron, has been incredibly supportive throughout my time in the role. She gives me the autonomy to take ownership of my work while always being available for guidance when needed. Caron has actively supported my development, encouraged me to take on new opportunities, and regularly provides constructive feedback that helps me grow both professionally and personally.
Caroline has also been a fantastic source of support. She has always been approachable, encouraging, and willing to offer advice or assistance whenever needed. Her guidance and positive attitude have helped create a supportive environment where I feel comfortable asking questions, learning new skills, and challenging myself.

My work-life balance is generally very good. While there are naturally busier periods throughout the year, particularly around financial cycles, project deadlines, and key account activities, I feel the role provides enough flexibility to maintain a healthy balance between work and personal commitments.
The support from my manager and team plays a big part in this. There is a strong culture of trust and flexibility, which helps me manage my workload effectively while maintaining my wellbeing. I also appreciate the ability to work autonomously and plan my time around priorities.

The organisational culture at DXC is very positive, supportive, and inclusive. I've found people across the business to be approachable, collaborative, and willing to help each other succeed.
