Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
Good, learning a lot everyday.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I am responsible for disposals and acquisition of industrial properties. I enjoy seeing different properties and meeting new people and getting the deals done.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I have been given a good amount of responsibility for certain instructions and I communicate with the clients directly.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I believe the compensation could be higher for the work I do but I receive great support for my APC which is one of the benefits.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I believe the role is preparing me well for my future career including the support for my RICS chartership.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

There are a lot of personal development and opportunities to learn in the day-to-day role and through different seminars.

I receive a lot of support for my training from my colleagues, HR and training team.

My work-life balance has been great. However, I have been working long hours at the moment for preparation for my chartership.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The organisational culture in the Leeds office is great and is very welcoming. My team does not work remotely due to the job but are flexible if needed. I understand that other teams have flexible working arrangements.
How would you rate Savills initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

I believe Savills have good initiatives for being inclusive. However, there is still work to be done especially regarding diversity for people in higher roles.

I would recommend Savills to a friend especially a job in the Leeds office. However, I understand every team is different and will depend on the manager.

I think the role matches my expectations and I feel I have been given more responsibility at the right pace.

Networking is key and a lot of people at Savills prefers a familiar face or name and someone they can get along with.
