Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Summer intern in DSEAR team, dealing with safety. My role was to perform a site-wide project and ascertain which buildings were covered by the asset list. This would involve walking around the entire site and then updating a spreadsheet with information as I went along.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I'd say a fair amount for an intern. I've had work to be getting on with.

I received a lot of support from my team especially, they were really helpful guiding me through tasks. The early careers team were also helpful in answering questions, although they were difficult to get in touch with.
