Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?

The experience so far has been extremely positive. From the first day you are involved in real projects and big accounts, fully immersing you in the work, whilst providing a structured training programme along side. The staff are incredibly encouraging and generous with their time to help you understand and develop.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

Main responsibilities included client reporting, side projects, managing budgets, creating budget reports, attending monthly and quarterly client/fund meetings and tenant liaison.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

The role has given a lot of responsibility, and always offers the opportunity to do meaningful work. The team are appreciative and communicate gratitude when a job is completed well.

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

The role is directly preparing me for my future career, undertaking tasks that correspond to what i want to do in the future.
There is broad training across a number of disciplines, so whilst the day to day is focused on one avenue of surveying, there is amble opportunity to understand and interact with different areas of surveying.

How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

work weeks are typically very full, with the occasional late working, but generally the role provides a good balance of working and personal time.
