CE GPU Software Engineer - Instrumentation Review

On a day to day basis, I would come in for a stand-up meeting with my team, explaining what I had done the prior day and any issues that arose and I would work independently on my project while attending seminars/lectures to help me understand my internship better, one example was Introduction to computer graphics. My day at work is usually 9 am to 5:30pm and includes conversations daily with my manager and buddy/mentor.

Yes I was given a lot of responsibility and flexibility on what task I should do, which made it more fun and rewarding

Yes, I have learnt how to program using the Vulkan API and how to work at a lower level, developing the gpu driver, so embedded programming.

Lots of support and guidance, every week I would have an in depth 1-1 with my buddy/mentor, explaining if I needed any help with my project or if it was proceeding as intended, and also help from my instrumentation team whenever I required

You are surrounded by very nice people who are very like minded. The atmosphere at Arm is also very relaxed, where they do not just priorities your work, but also your wellbeing, so as long as you have been productive, you are more flexible about working in person or from home, you just have to make sure you fill this in with your line manager/ buddy/mentor

I loved my internship and would love to do it all over again! I learnt so much on it, met some amazing people and most of all enjoyed the process lots!
