Overall, how would you describe your experience at Arm?
Very great company to work for. Colleagues and managers are all inclusive and supported.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy most that managers give me all the space that I need to complete the tasks assign. When I have extra capacity, I take on the responsibility of someone more senior than me but away on leave.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

The base salary is standard but the RSU part is what makes the compensation competitve.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Rotating in the finance department gives me a lot more exposure and breadth than settling in one role, but in the mean time I will need to work on depth along my career.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

It's all new to me. I am not only learning about the business but also the mindset of automating things.

How is the support you receive?

I would say my line manager provided everything I need, including techniques to handle problems and emotional support. I would hope my buddy to be more proactive and connect more (by saying that, I will ask him for lunch together today to be proactive myself!
How is your work-life balance?

Absolutely good. Except for month end for finance people, I never needed to work overtime.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Inclusive and supported for sure. And we have a culture that everyone should move fast.

Team Arm is doing amazing and they have fantastic intiative. Also, Arm gives everyone half of a day for volunteering each quarter - real contribution.

Again, Also, Arm gives everyone half of a day for volunteering each quarter - real contribution. Also, Arm is supporting different initiatives to provide essential medical care for African kids. Love that.

Would you recommend Arm to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I am currently rotating through different teams and will land in a permanent team in a year. Line managers and senior members of different teams that I have work with are all very supportive and inclusive. Also, the career progression is relatively clear and transparent.
Also, we have 4-5 restaurant to choose from, and each of them put a lot of thoughts in to create daily special and sometimes according to specific festival and events. From the Cambridge train station there's shuttle bus to and from the office to help people commute. I feel like we are well taken care of.

How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

The recruitment process is - CV screening, video interview, and final interview (which include a presentation). It's not too much for a graduate role but definitely selective.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Arm?
Tailor your CV as closed to the JD as possible as the CV screening step is very selective. Without a competitive CV you won't be able to go too far in the process.
