Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
Brilliant, the grad team are incredible, my team are great and the support is best in class.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Assisting fee earners in their jobs. This could be writing valuation reports for residential, commercial or development properties. Helping development land agents in disposal of land, carrying out residual appraisals and marketing the properties.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel very valued and consistently am allowed to take the initiative within my job.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Given the experience I am getting, the renumerations package doesn't matter too much and the benefits are very good, but it can be a bit touch and go month to month, so it would definitely be more comfortable if it were a bit higher and given the work I put in it could be reflected in a slightly higher salary.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Everyday I try something new or learn something new and develop my skillset further. I very rarely do something that doesn't push me to learn more or develop my skillset.

How is the support you receive?

Excellent, I have regular catchups with my manager and have other grads / recently qualified team members who I can speak to if I need advice.
How is your work-life balance?

I have plenty of personal time and very rarely have to work overtime unless it is very important. We are provided free therapy, coaching and counselling which is absolutely incredible.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The culture is amazing and whenever I call members of other teams or offices I always get a warm response which makes a big difference.
How would you rate Savills initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

Good, there is definitely a concerted effort to be more equal and be more diverse within the company. Never come across any issues with people feeling excluded.

Savills is constantly hosting charitable events and getting involved within the community which is great.

How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

A bit less being out and about on site visits and inspections than was advertised but otherwise it was to my expectations.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
Be different, don't be shy as everyone has been in your shoes and just give it a go. You have nothing to lose from being yourself, so it's best just to give it your best and try take the pressure off yourself.
