Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
My experience at Savills over the last 6 months has been great. The company really puts employees first, I have attended social events, conferences and training days as well as support from my divisional team and made friends with other graduates in the Glasgow office.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The main responsibilities of my role are - assisting on projects, undertaking smaller reports solo such as dilapidations, schedule of condition, measured surveys, visiting ongoing projects for progress updates all over the country, drawing units on CAD and doing drone surveys.
I mostly enjoy the variety that Savills BPC has to offer, no 2 weeks are the same, I have had opportunities to go all over the country to work on projects from retail units to listed castles as well as ask as many questions to my team and they're always happy to help.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Undertaking inspections and completing my own reports allows me to feel useful and valued by my team as I am workng through instructions.

Yes, I think the social perks are excellent as well as mileage compensation and team outings.

I feel very lucky to be working at Savills as this is a job for life

I think in 6 months the skills I have gained as a graduate are great, I feel as though I have a better understanding of what is required and have made good connections with fellow Savills employees

I think any of the events I have attended are well planned out, there are charity events ongoing throughout the year as well as always using the most sustainable contractors for projects
