Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at DXC?
Mixed - Periods of highs and lows regarding workload. Have done some great experiences myself. Budget for graduate scheme engagement has been noticeably reduced over last year, very rarely do anything in offices anymore. Communication around what is happening on the scheme can be sparse.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
2 year scheme, was advertised as doing rotations in different areas of DXC, which wasn't the case.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Good amount of perks as a company. As mentioned above, grad scheme engagement has declined

Have built up some skills, but ultimately not many. Role becomes very repetitive and don't have often discussions around career improvement/career paths.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

As above. They do have option for a free certification a year though which I have utilized, although choice is a little limited.

Assignment manager has always been supportive and encouraging for me to get involved in events, activities and role-related tasks when the option comes up.
How is your work-life balance?

Good W/L balance. Mix of office and remote days, ability to mix around if needed for personal reasons.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Most people are great to reach out to and willing to help you. Company culture itself is a bit harder to pinpoint as it's so large, so there's a lack of community/group feeling.

Why?
Hasn't particularly been the scheme I was expecting. And don't quite feel set out to move my career forward
