Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Started off in a client position working in the customer experience centre, listening in on client discussions and presenting offerings to them. Day-to-day operation of events, planning and logistics.
Now I rotated to an AI Engineer position, deploying apps into prod for DXC, mainly concerning internal operations.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A lot... in a good way. You get real responsibility that makes you have impact on outcomes in the sector you are working in-- for me, it was firstly with client experience and supporting client events. In my current role, its supporting core internal apps for DXC and building new workflows and applications/systems to make us operate more efficiently as a company

You can speak to anyone at the company, no matter how high up anyone is-- everyone is very inviting and easy to speak to, and you get the platform to make a lot of meaningful connections across the company, very early on in your career which can open up doors if you wish to pursue other areas of the business.
