Overall, how would you describe your experience at DXC?
My experience at DXC on the academic programme as a graduate has been really positive. I have been able to contribute a lot to the team I work in and provide meaningful impact and improvement day to day whilst learning new skills while working.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I have maintained the same position, enjoying the communication with countless other people in the company to help craft proposals and learn about many areas of the company.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

The role is allowing me to expand my knowledge and skillset, helping to build many new skills and take on new unfamiliar challenges often.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Due to my workload I have not undertaken as much training as others have, although there is a vast array of available courses and programmes permanently available to access.

How is the support you receive?

All managers, HR managers and my buddy that I have interacted with have been brilliant and consistently supportive and understanding during my time here.
How is your work-life balance?

My work-life balance is pretty strong, sometimes workload can become intensive due to my role but the support has always been there if/when I've struggled.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The culture at DXC is incredibly friendly with many initiatives and activities to get involved with.
How would you rate DXC initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

DXC do this brilliantly, plenty of ERG groups and spaces for all to come together.
How would you rate DXC CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

I have gotten involved in multiple volunteering initiatives with schools and charities, including a dog and cat shelter and school clubs/classes in the local area. There is always plenty of these initiatives going on.

DXC has provided a strong foundation and the right tools to help me build my career, providing a gateway into a complex organisation where I've been given real responsibility to make meaningful contribution
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

My role slightly differed from recruitment expectations but this was due to a new internal opportunity arising mid-way through the recruitment process.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to DXC?
I would encourage others to be confident and collaborative, and be friendly to all those who you meet.
