Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The scheme was fantastic. On day 1 and 2 of the scheme all students were invited to the London office for an induction and given essential skills training. The remainder of the scheme was based in a department in which we were given a supervisor and a buddy. The scheme was in partnership with Peloton which meant we were given the opportunity to head over to Peloton headquarters for the day.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The early careers team made it very clear the roles available during our time with Fieldfisher. I was invited back for a training contract assessment centre and was successful. Further to this, students are always clued in on future paralegal/legal professional roles that could be suitable.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I feel as if I did. Not only did my confidence grow but it allowed me to expand upon my commercial awareness and develop upon my written and verbal communication skills. I also learnt how to effectively work within a group setting.

How would you rate business leader involvement during the insight

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was amazing - everyone was beyond friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I was embedded into the firm day-to-day. There were no silly questions and I was constantly being invited to meetings and after work activities.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight, it was a fantastic two weeks that I did not want to end. Fieldfisher truly thought of everything that could be fitted into the two week insight and exceeded expectations.
