Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Most of the work involved making residential comparables by finding similar local schemes to a proposed development and then inputting this data onto an Excel spreadsheet. I then used this data to later write reports about the development.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
My Summer Scheme helped increase my knowledge understanding of the business by interacting with other departments. I also spent some time working with other teams and there were scheduled departmental overviews to help us gain an understanding about potential roles available.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
My Excel proficiency greatly improved as I used the platform very frequently. It also improved my ability to construct professional reports on Word. The frequent interactions with other employees and clients also improved my social and communication skills within a professional setting.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture at Savills is very impressive. Everybody is very welcoming and sociable which means there is a great social atmosphere at the office.
