Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Supporting planners and directors on their projects predominately through planning research and internal appraisals. Briefed superiors on the planning history and area of their sites. Researched appeals.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A fair amount. The work that I did was trusted and used my team used it for their work.
I wasn't involved in any team meetings or client meets which was a disappointment.

Really good. All the other teams and grads I have spoken to have been extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed it, the whole team and wider teams that I met were amazing.
The only fault I can list is the lack of mobility within the team. I feel like I was given the simplest work available, with little feedback. I became very comfortable with this work quite quickly and made my team aware, there weren't any developments in my work over the placement. Whilst I have quickly gained industry related skills, I feel this growth plateaued.
