Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

In commercial surveying I have been tasked with creating detailed comparable analysis and reports, submitting cases relevant to the CCA process, going on inspections with team members to inspect the premises and measure the floor areas, and calculating rates payables and liabilities for clients.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given lots of responsibilities that held significant weight and important for the team in preparations for Tribunal hearings, check and challenge appeals, and providing a strong forecast to clients about their ratable liabilities.

I have developed a wealth of skills ranging from excel to analysis. Developed collaboration skills with team members and also members from different teams that we can refer work to/from.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is great and the atmosphere is motivating, everyone works hard, collaborates well, shows entrepreneurial skills, and approachable.
