Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Dat-to-day: operational management of different commercial properties in London and the surronding area. My role was very client facing, with multiple meetings, inspections, reporting, & research. I assisted my line manager in the 'behind scenes' with tracking tenant debts to analysing and creating service charge budgets.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I came into the business with zero corporate experience. Since then, I have left with a greater level of professionalism if its regarding my work (organisation/time-keeping) or personal skills like presenting and general confidence.
Savills has built my foundation when it comes to working in a corporate office. Secondly, all placement students are given training courses throughout the year including 'introduction to AI' and general business skills such as 'avoiding bias'.
How would you rate the training provided during your experience?
How would you rate your development of industry-specific skills during the experience?
How would you rate your development of personal / soft skills during the experience?

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
If I am ever stuck or confused, I know I can ask anyone in my team for help and they would be more than happy to help!
To note; my line manager was a placement student once and valued his experience so much that he choose to help future students - this was not a situation where a director gets 'stuck' with a placement student for a year.
How would you rate the support and guidance from your line manager?
How would you rate the support and guidance from the wider team?
Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Never expected such a large company to feel so friendly.
