Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As an intern, I completed a variety of tests depending on what my team required. In the Sustainable Design team I worked on building EPC modelling and local planning policy documents. In the Energy Team i worked with several mapping tools, such as Savills Maps, Searchland and google maps to find landowner details of land the team was interested in developing on.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, when I was given a task to complete I was given quite a lot of space to work on it myself, but if stuck I was always able to ask someone for help.

I have learned how to use TAS modeler, Savills Maps and Searchland. Further i have learned offices skills and developed my teamwork and communication skills.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I feel my work experience has provided me with a whole new experience unlike any other I have been through. I enjoyed immersing myself in the new office environment and learning al that the teams do in their day to day work.
