Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As a Summer Scheme Student I was primarily involved in helping my team which each of their projects in turn, whether that was report writing, on site visits, data summary etc

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

During my internship, once assigned a task, I was given full responsibility of what i did and produced, within an environment where i could always ask questions and check my work prior to sign off.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I was given as much, or as little support as i wanted. All i had to do was ask and the team as a whole were extremely receptive and eager to answer any, and all of my questions and queries.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

From what I gathered from my team's, and departments culture, everyone is extremely friendly and eager to answer any questions. Atop the friendliness, everyone was entirely committed and motivated for each project.
