The role involved assisting different members of the team in working to submit planning applications, including research, writing cover letters, writing planning statements and attending meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - I was given a high level of responsibility but also provided with support in everything I did.

I have learnt how to write the appropriate planning documents needed for a planning application, how to communicate with clients and team members, how to manage tasks and my time.

I received a very high level of support during the internship, all team members took time to explain every task I received and answer any questions I had.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company cullture was very positive, everyone has been extremly friendly and social with me. There is also a very positive culture in terms of fitness with a run club once a week.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have really enjoyed the internship, it has exceeded my expectations in what i have leaned and the opportunities i have had to see a large variety of different tasks that the team complete. I was also able to attend the summer party which further allowed me to meet the wider office team.
