Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Running reports, making dashboards, data analysis, being involved with process improvements, being involved with daily business of a Process Specialist, Assembly steering, process optimisation, safety and ergonomics risk assessment, automating reports, physical work, line trials, simulations

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, meaningful responsibilities and project that when completed benefitted the team and organisation.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes very much particularly from a data analysis side of things, like handling of excel sheet, reports and building dashboard with bi tools, and aws, and using power automate and so on. personally also in regards to taking initiative leading a project, co-ordinating and building on the team and presentation skills etc.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very relaxed and chill and occasionally slightly chaotic especially to do with the assembly line and sometimes hectic but generally welcoming.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

As much as I could've enjoyed and learnt more than i couldve imagined and im leaving 10 times better of a person that i was when i first joined and 100 times better of an engineer.

Be open to all roles. All of them have their benefits and there is no wasteful or bad role. Everything is about learning and gaining experience. you dont get exposure better than this anywhere.
