Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

During a normal day I get to do quite a few tasks. Going on measurement appointments, during which the designer I shadow would ask the client questions about the style they are going for. When we are back at the depot, I would learn CAD, by doing different designs and watching CAD tutorials, provided by the company. After finishing a design I would do the pricing for that kitchen. Some days I would also sit in during presentations.

Learnt how to measure a kitchen correctly and how to use CAD software.

It’s excellent, the company is using DIDAC, as well as having its own set of tutorials.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The employer is supporting me a lot, made sure I am learning how to use CAD and K8, always there if I needed questions to be answered.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It’s still early, but so far they have been great.
