Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We started off the day by going through an overview of the company, including their various sectors in tech and finance. We had some small talks from some of the staff and apprentices who worked there and were able to ask questions about their experiences and a day in the life at the company. We were treated to a lunch afterwards and then got to have a few more talks, and throughout the day, we also got to have some inclusive activities such as an ice breaker, some tasks related to routine and a bit of an analysis on our career profile.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was useful and made me feel optimistic about applying to the company as the roles included were roles that I would be willing to pursue.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture seemed peaceful and welcoming as it’s a more remote location, and the atmosphere looked quiet and not stressful.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed to insight to a decent extent as I was treated nicely, I gained some valuable information and commuting was straightforward.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW
I would say to think about whether you’d prefer to work in a more busier and load environment as to a more quiet and more isolated one. Also, I’d say to look at the different roles as there are a few to choose from.
