Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The Level Up Insight Programme was a 2 - day programme where I was able to network with the WTW Early Careers team as well as Level Up Alumni to learn more about the different lines of business' offered at WTW. There were learning modules as well as panels which made both days feel like a remote job.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was well delivered by the different teams across the different lines of business. The sessions were made interactive and engaging which definitely helped my understanding of the potential roles I could apply for at WTW in the future.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt techniques to answer interview questions which was very helpful given the fact that most answers may go off tangent to the question asked. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to enhance some of my soft skills - communication and commercial awareness which is very important when it comes to applying for a particular role that you may be interested.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was supportive and collaborative, especially through the many interactive sessions and discussions that took place over the 2 - day programme. I believe that this is a company culture that i can thrive in.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I very much enjoyed the insight programme as I became more familiar with the values and roles at WTW through the great teams of people that I met. I would definitely recommend this programme to anyone who is looking for consulting and professional services.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW

Make sure to be yourself when completing the Hirevue for the programme as that was a key point the teams at WTW mentioned when it came to applying for the role at WTW.
