I received a lot of support throughout from my team. At the start, a lot of my training was skipped due to ongoing business issues taking up people's time but a few months in my training really ramped up and that really helped me for the rest of the placement.

I would say it varies. I feel like culture is pushed a lot from a higher level and on the most part, it is good, but I feel like there is a bit of a blame culture where instead of working as a team, people put their own interests first and shift the responsibility to others when things go wrong. I think the atmosphere is good but I wish there was more young people where I worked on my placement.

I enjoyed it, the main driver of this is how much I learned and how much responsibility I was given. My manager was very invested into my development, and this made the placement very worthwhile. I did find at times, it lacked anything going on outside of work, and some individuals outside of my team were not too tolerant of a placement student when I joined, so I had a bit of a tricky start but as the placement developed this got better.
