Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role has been highly varied throughout my placement year, ranging from supporting employer branding and website content to attract talent. I have managed recruitment operations such as job boards, job descriptions and attraction strategy improvements. Alongside this, I’ve taken ownership of key administrative processes such as inbox management, finance tracking, TrustID checks and stakeholder communications.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given quite a lot of responsibility over the year and had the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company's early careers recruitment space.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is quite inclusive, I have never really felt out of place - there are lots of events to network and create a community outside of your working team. Lots of opportunities to make friends with other placement students as well.
