Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Health outcomes so it merges STEM with health economics, the role builds economic models as well as prepare HTA submissions to NICE or SMC. My day to day consists of sitting in on cross functional meetings as well as strategies meetings, with model building and reviewing dossier.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Most of the work I did I was able to try out independently, with the team supporting me if I had any questions. I would say I was given a good amount of responsibilities.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I learnt about the application of health economics as well as end to end process of a HTA submission. Additionally, how to use excel more fluently. In terms of soft skills, I learnt how to communicate more effectively, as well as public speaking.
