Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was working on processing for hair products. This involves scheduling and producing new products (conditioners, shampoos etc.) and analysing and testing results.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a comfortable amount of work. I was able to lead projects while at the same time being supported by managers and colleagues.

What advice would you give to others applying to Unilever

Be open minded to many opportunities as things can differ team to team so not every student gets the same experience and your placement is only as good as you make it.
