Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Being a Project engineer, I rotated around many teams within BAE Systems Maritime and assisted managing engineering across their project including obsolescence and upgrades for the Royal Navy's fleet, and international Navy's

I was personally given a great deal of responsibility

Support was always available, my Line Manager was incredibly supportive through tough times, senior members of the team always helped and gave guidance where necessary which made me feel very welcomed and happy at work.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very welcoming, never had any issues where I felt uncomfortable, everyone was willing to help. Very inclusive, social committee provide a lot of social events
