Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Airbus?

It's a pleasant experience to work in Airbus. As a graduate, Airbus provides me with positive and safe environment so that I can learn without worrying about making mistakes. Airbus take responsibility of my Skilled Worker Visa, I don't need to worry about it as well. What's more, Airbus provides us the opportunity to explore different area and we can even work aboard for certain period to experience and build networking.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

I work as a procurement graduate.
During the two year graduate scheme, my main target is to be a buyer who can take the responsibility to manage the supplier.
To reach the target, I need to rotate in different teams. Firstly, I would stay 6 months in my home team to learn what buyer's daily responsibility and what the challenges are. Then I can do the rotations in any team I'm interested if I get the approval from manager.
I enjoy the most that I'm encouraged to explore new areas as many as possible. In this way, I can see the world outside procurement and what position procurement is in the whole company. Then I would know how valuable I am and how to contribute to the company.
