Communications Assistant Review

My role varied from day to day and from different teams that I rotated around. However, on a day-to-day basis this could be working on projects with my team, getting really involved not just sitting there and listening but also being given the trust and responsibility to do more. Tracking data for specific projects I was working on and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

Yes, plenty and this made the placement better, as it felt like the people that I was working with actually believed in me.

During my time I amassed a range of new skills and developed even further the skills I already had. What felt so great was that I could actually see the skills I was learning and developing as well as pushing my self to learn new skills from experienced professionals.

The support and guidance I received throughout my placement were truly exceptional. I felt genuinely valued by the people I worked with, who consistently showed a strong commitment to my development. Their encouragement and willingness to invest in my growth made the experience incredibly positive and rewarding, and it was clear that they truly cared about my success.

Everyone I worked with was approachable and always willing to help, which made a real difference to my experience. The social opportunities across my different teams were fantastic, allowing me to build meaningful connections and feel truly part of the organisation. I was fortunate to contribute to both fundraising and volunteering initiatives, which added another rewarding element to my placement.

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and found it to be an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience.
