Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Communications usually revolving around partner events held by SAP. Internal and external communications to partners and SAP employees. Managing senior social media accounts. Creating new communication campaigns / initiatives.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was left to manage my tasks whilst always being given and able to seek guidance from my manager. The responsibilities undertaken gradually increased throughout the placement with a focus on managing your own tasks without being overwhelming,

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I lived my placement and it was my first step into the professional world, in my role my voice was heard and my contributions genuinely made a difference. I particularly enjoyed how broad the role was as the sheer amount of organisations and agency we work with makes every different
