Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Reading through code tying to understand what it does and creating flow charts and other diagrams to aid with understanding. Using the debugging tool to understand the flow of each function and relations between functions
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes during the internship I was responsible for creating documentation to productionise an entire tool for all of the other teams to use

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
It was so fun, the people are what made it the most enjoyable, there were a lot of social gatherings to bring everyone closer together and I learned so much

What advice would you give to others applying to Capital One
Just be confident in your communication. I didn’t do so well in my coding exam but being able to communicate well I think is what helped me get in.
