As part of the leadership and management level 3 apprenticeship I lead and manage a small nursing and admin team to deliver high quality and safe care, motivating and coaching individuals to achieve their goals, aligning all with the company ambitions.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The course is structured by the course provider into regular modules that can be completed at any time and providing you regularly study these do not become overwhelming. Regular monthly teams check-ins. Regular webinairs interspersed with 4 face to face study days. all clearly laid out on digital dashboard.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

No direct support from line manager as such, not much interest.

Some organised ward events like going out for dinner at Christmas, not inclusive as requires payment.
I think there is a quiz evening in the dining room at work but working shifts makes it difficult to attend.

Opportunities are available to progress but it is not as abundant as the NHS and you have to be a little more proactive.
