Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My job varies from day to day, Preparing paperwork for theatres, communicating with other departments to ensure consistent patient safety. Checking system for patient alerts, ordering lists, updating joint register, selecting picks for theatres (Theatre equipment).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying the learning, it really helps that I am being so very well supported by my Manager and the team.

My apprenticeship learning is fitting in brilliantly with my job role. 2 months in and I have already learnt so much about myself, dealing with conflict and becoming more emotionally intelligent.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised. Excellent easy to use platform, plenty of support from my mentor, manager, department and the Apprenticeship program. There are monthly check ins, my organisation authorise a study each week and I am given plenty of opportunities to use my learning within the department.

100% support, plenty of ways to communicate with my training provider, lots of check ins and very easy to talk to and never afraid to ask questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

So far it has helped me look at myself, look at the way I approach conflict and understand things from another point of view. I have also looked at areas for improvement that I would not have picked up if I had not taken part in this apprenticeship.
