I love my job but it can be very stressful. It's a job that requires a lot of resilence and emotional strain. However, it's different every day and I learn every day - whether on the job or at university. Colleagues are supportive and my manager has been brilliant.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love learning and we have learnt some interesting things that have supported my practice. However, the course has been at times very unorganised and this makes things more stressful, when we are already doing a job that is stressful!

Yes - constantly, everyday I learn new things, new ways of working or new theories or practical skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Poor structure and organisation from University - the lecturers are good and learning is mostly good, but the organisation lets it down.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Mostly good support - my team manager is great. Apprenticeship leads are good but sometimes its felt we've had to push for change.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It took two years for us to be given a study day, but other than that it's been good.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel my learning links in really well with practice and enables deeper understanding of our role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are some but as we are so busy, it's hard to always be part of these.
