Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
It has been great so far and there have been lots of different opportunities for us to get into. There was a bit of confusion at the start of the apprenticeship, but once that was sorted everything went smoothly and I am still enjoying it.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I am currently doing machining work rather than CAD work, which is something that threw me off for a little while. However after doing it for a little while I appreciate why we are doing this as it has helped me learn so much more than I would have than just going straight into CAD.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned tonnes of new skills as I was quite new to the engineering sector, so most of the stuff I have been learning with the machines has all been new.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It started a bit rocky but then it got much better.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My training manager and line manager has been amazing with me since starting the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Plenty of support has been given.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
So far not much, but once we start doing CAD work I think it will.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
there are always talks happening at work from internal and external people which are always great to attend.
