Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

So far, in academy, my role has involved completing various C&I focused tasks; e.g designing and building a specific circuit. These tasks have escalated in complexity as my time in the academy has elapsed; they will help me to gain the fundamental building blocks of Control & Instrumentation before out-turning on site.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

While the tasks are hands on, independent and learning focused, I would appreciate if the very basics were also covered before hand, as it has been difficult (sometimes) to gain an understanding due to the gaps in my knowledge.

All tasks that I have completed have contributed in teaching me various skills and new information.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well structured to a fair extent however for those who have just left secondary school prior to the apprenticeship, teaching us the fundamentals before going into a task would be appreciated.
