Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on the development team for internally used systems and software. Daily interactions with team members, local and global, along with interaction with the internal clients and users of the systems.
Worked on developing and maintaining crucial systems currently in use by the company, which gives a very good exposure and a sense of belonging.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, as mentioned I was very quickly integrated into the team being a crucial member just as any other team member. Working on real life projects and issues.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
From the start of the internship, the onboarding process was very easy and a lot of guidance was provided. Throughout the internship, I was assigned a mentor from the team that provided guidance and support throughout the whole internship and with my day-to-day responsibilities.
