Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The apprenticeship involves a number of placement rotations around different parts of the business to develop your skills and knowledge. The final year of the apprenticeship is spent in an exit role, where you continue to develop your skills and knowledge in that placement area. Throughout the apprenticeship, 1 day per week is spent attending university and the other 4 days a week are spent working in placement teams within the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the apprenticeship program as it gives the opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in multiple business areas while gaining a Level 4 diploma and working towards a Level 6 degree.

Throughout my placements I have had the opportunity to develop numerous technical skills and professional skills including problem solving and communication.

The Early Careers team provides support throughout the apprenticeship and apprentices have frequent reviews with skills coaches. The company also has a wide range of support resources.
