Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I have different 6 month placements in different areas under a specific function across the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I have learnt so much of this apprenticeship and I'm glad I chose to do this. I just wish I could tailor my apprenticeship to what areas I would like to explore and try rather than other people pick it for me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt how to complete high standard engineering documentation and since this is a Degree Apprenticeship. I have significantly improved my knowledge of engineering theory and application.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The apprenticeship is structured well. I have 6 6-month placements and then the last 2 years of the apprenticeship is my exit role. 1 day a week is our "Uni day". This is where we study for our degree.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
The Early Careers team are extremely nice and supportive people. If I have any concerns or issues they're always happy to listen.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Support is available at uni. They don't always offer revision or 1:1 sessions if needed though.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
At the moment, I have applied anything I've learnt on my degree to work-life. But I'm sure I will as time goes on.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
The apprentices organise social events occasionally but unfortunately there aren't any sports teams or clubs to join etc.
