I oversee the day-to-day running of a busy Urgent Treatment Centre, maintaining high standards of patient care, promoting a happy and motivated workforce, and ensuring compliance with all performance and quality KPIs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Even at an early stage of the programme, I have translated learning into practice, implementing improvements within my day-to-day management responsibilities.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Whilst I am still in the early stages of the programme and have mainly developed my knowledge so far, I anticipate that these learnings will translate into skills as the course progresses.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Balancing the programme alongside full-time work is demanding; however, receiving the rota well in advance is extremely helpful. I also value that each classroom day is focused on a single assignment, as this keeps the learning structured and straightforward.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel well supported, and both my colleagues and manager understand how important it is for me to take my study leave.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I work alongside a colleague in the training team who is also enrolled on the same course, which means I have someone who can both support me and genuinely understand and relate to the experience.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is still too early to say, but I anticipate that the programme will help me grow and develop both professionally and personally.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

FCMS are excellent at providing a range of extracurricular activities, such as the run club, men’s club, and various ad hoc groups.
