Quantity Surveyor Review

As a Quantity Surveyor, my role is to manage the commercial and financial aspects of construction projects from commencement through to final account. This involves ensuring that works are properly valued, costs are controlled, variations are captured, and the company’s contractual position is protected.
On a day-to-day basis, my duties include reviewing drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and site information to understand the scope of works. I prepare and assess cost estimates, quotations, applications for payment, variations, compensation events and final account information.
