Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work as a project manager, with a blend between getting out and about on production areas to monitor work and ensure planned work is being worked to. I also pull data and ensured progress, issues etc are displayed and everyone involved is aware of whats happening.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It is okay.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many skills in placement and in university also. Ranging from working in teams and the challenges associated with this work to developing my understanding at uni about my own skills and where best I can utilise these to my advantage.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
In terms of structure with University timetable it is done well, however the early careers side of things do regularly change the evidence required for EPA for example which gives a feeling of disorganisation.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Receive plenty of support from Early careers.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Have had times where I have required extra support due to personal circumstances, always felt supported in that regard. Have been occasions where I have asked questions and things haven't been fully explained.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
Overall, I do not think my degree aligns well with my scheme. I am not regularly able to relate my degree to my placements as there is a clear difference in requirements between the two. Although, the general skills picked up at university do aid general work in placements.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Plenty of events put out there for people to attend if they wish, such as socials and other events. Also, there are different events held in business for well being and professional development, including networking etc.
