Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I take emergency 999 and 101 calls. I assess the risk and grade each call to determine police response.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Lots of opportunity to learn a wide range of useful things. Had the opportunity to explore the organisation as a whole to have a wider understanding of how different departments work. The staff are really helpful.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I've learned a wide range of skills from people management to how to use Microsoft Excel to how to roll out a project.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

We got told far in advance when we would be in the classroom and when would be at home. Each month focuses in on something new which keeps it fresh.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My supervisor was often too busy to help with my course, but the apprenticeship staff stepped up to make sure I was still supported.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Plenty of support from the apprenticeship staff. They made extra effort as I have ADHD and made sure I was fully supported.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel confident that going forward I will have the ability to lead a team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
