People manager for franchise of McDonalds in the Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup and Sevenoaks areas. Managing recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, recognition programmes, overseeing investigations, grievances and disciplinaries, keeping policies and handbook up to date, wellbeing and pastoral care of employees, record keeping, monitoring, data management, performance management

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Has only just started, so don't feel I can give a 5 star rating, but looking forward to learning a lot and having the support of the tutors and cohort.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Again the apprenticeship has so far only covered induction and study, so haven't learnt too much yet - reflection and resources available to me are probably the biggest takes from what I've learned so far.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Appears to be excellent, but only 2 weeks into the apprenticeship

My employer is fully supportive, and recommended the course to me to further develop my knowledge and expertise.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Only just started, but support has been signposted and I am sure that I will be making use of it over the course of my apprenticeship

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Whilst I have only just started the course, I have no doubt that the knowledge and experience that I gain through this course will greatly aid me in performing my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Whilst there are social activities to get involved with at work, I am usually the one organising them. I need to look into professional networking events to further my own development

Why?

So far, I have enjoyed the workshops, have found Crosby to be very communicative and fast in getting back to any queries I've had, but we have not yet started on the subject matter workshops so not sure I can comment.
