Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves overlooking 8 hotels in the south west. It involves reviewing ER packs, training managers on different people manager topics, payroll, admin
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme was excellent as it allowed me to gain the basics of my role. I have been at the time in the HR role a few years. the apprenticeship allowed me to gain basics whilst still continuing in my role.

Absolutely. I became more confident in my role and how i approach certain day to day situations
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structured and organised, i received support both from Lifetime and my employer in completing my apprentiship, and allowed me to pause my learning when i became pregnant and restart on my return from maternity.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received great support in allowing me to complete my assessment and learning weekly, and to pause learning when i needed most, whist also allowing me to resume on my return, so that i can fully complete my apprenticeship rather than leaving the programme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

constant training and support, whilst not being too invasive and allowing me to study at my own pace.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

very well, I became a lot more confident in my role as I know have the basics of HR which i didnt previously had since i had no prior qualifications in the role

yes - through my role, we are partnered with university, other hoteliers and job centres

Why?
Its a great place to work, allowing flexibility and genuine understanding. The L&D department is always inovative, looking for new ways to expand knowledge but also celebrate any wins, no matter how big or small. I have attended a graduation for completing my apprenticeship, which just shows the commitment from the company in terms of offering learning, supporting through and celebrating the wins of those who strive more from themselves
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Leonardo Hotels UK?
I would advise anyone to take full advantage of the programmes offered through the company at no extra cost, whist still working and receiving pay .
