Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I am an manufacturing engineering intern and in my current placement I need to ensure the production is going on smoothly, assisting the project managers with the shopfloor issues, documentations and ensuring the comms for the same are sent out in the team.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given charge of the projects and ensuring all the relavent documentations were done on time

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I learnt so many new skills and software in my placement. Obviously the human skills have been developed which has made me more confidence and comfortable interacting with larger crowd. There has been major development in my technical skills alongside as well.

Everyone is so friendly. Even if you accidently reached out to the wrong person, they always try their best to support and guide me to the relevant person for topics. I would give it a 9.5/10 in terms of scoring

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very diverse and united. Everyone has always been welcoming whether is it within the company or the team they always have their hands open especially when the interns rotate the teams.

the suggestion is to fill in one application and make it count. add in all your accomplishments in your CV and the remainder in your cover letter. Be a team person and ensure you are at par with the Airbus values for yourself first
